Biography

Jessica and Martin met at a small craft brewery. It was a summer’s day and they jumped in to help the crew bottle. That week they talked about music, life and why they had ended up where they were then. Jessica had lived abroad for many years but now moved back home and Martin had made a living producing music for corporate films and small projects of his own. None of them had a lot to lose. Six months earlier, Jessica had posted a link to a video with Rose’s ”Magic Carillion” and asked if anyone in her circle could help her produce music. Now, on this hot summer day, Martin apologized. He had, after all, responded to her wish saying that he could do it. Italodisco, how difficult could it be? At the beginning of June 2017, they went into Martin’s studio. A month later, the first song was finished and Francesca e Luigi was born. Three months later they played their first gig. In 2018, they played 15 gigs and had finally recorded 18 songs. They had conquered everything. Both creating and performing music. Now they were finished. Now they could shut down. Go back to their wobbly lives. When 2019 came, they decided to put together an album. At least make a headstone in vinyl. The work of choosing songs and expressions, footing and choosing fonts; Everything would be their own. Their own creation - Disco Darkness. "Nightclub, Café, Movie, Hotel" is the first single from the album "Disco Darkness" to be released in the spring of 2020.
