HARSH is Queer, Chaotic, and Powerful. To be at a HARSH show is to be engulfed in positive energy; enveloped by the chaotic good. Armed with witty banter and feminist politics, HARSH manages to be radical yet fun; inclusive yet uncompromising. HARSH is not afraid to challenge their audience, the binary, or the patriarchy, often in the same song. Building on the anarchic spirit of Crass, IDLES, and Kathleen Hanna, HARSH has built themselves a sound that resembles nothing else. HARSH was formed in 2017 by Sydney Morrissette, Jamie Siferd, Cam Siferd and Megan Slater as a way to pass the time during the long cold winter weekends. What started out as screaming misheard Menzingers lyrics in the kitchen quickly turned into powerful and fun live performances. 2023 has been a whirl wind of a year with one of the hilights being welcomed onto the Outhouse Records roster! HARSH is HARSH, and they wouldn’t have it any other way!
