Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Travis Holifield, better known as BOSSMAN, has been honing his craft from a young age. Initially starting as a member of the group NEK (North East Kings), he quickly began uploading original music on Myspace before taking time to craft his self-released debut album, Law and Order. It became notorious in the underground hip-hop scene of Baltimore, sparking the start of a monumental career. “Off Da Record”, the second single from the album, caught the attention of Jermaine Dupri, who quickly signed him to Virgin Records. His song, “Ayo”, was featured on the soundtrack for the celebrated TV series The Wire. Never one to take it easy, BOSSMAN has since released a bevy of albums and mixtapes, the latest being Law and Order II, which debuted in 2017. Despite his years of success, BOSSMAN’s reign is only just beginning. After brief tenures with other music labels like Interscope, his long-awaited comeback has finally arrived – he recently created his own label, GET MONEY MUSIC GROUP, and released his hotly anticipated new single “Hittin' Out the Hole”.
