Joyce San Mateo is a singer/songwriter. She collaborated with the UK music producers of Sound of Superbad. In August 5, 2022, their EP “You’re the best thing” was officially released. Andy Welland and Sassy P. produced the music and remixes of the tracks “You’re the best thing” and “Loving you” and Joyce wrote the lyrics and sang the vocal melodies of all the tracks. So far, their EP has reached the following Soul, R&B Charts: No.1 - The Amazon R&B 'Hot New Releases' Chart ; No.1 - The Network Soul '25' Chart (JFSR) ; No.2 - The UK Soul Chart (Starpoint Radio) ; No.2 - The Sweet Rhythms Chart (Solar Radio) ; No.2 - The Jamm FM Chart (Jamm FM, Netherlands) ; No.2 - The LMR Chart (London Music Radio) ; many more to mention. Showcased and played twice on BBC Radio Introducing in The west - Bristol, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. She was the featured vocalist/co-writer of american jazz funk trumpeter, Tom Browne’s single “Daydreamin’ ”(2015), his albums ‘Legacy’ (2016) and ‘Come What May’ (2020). She has performed with him as the featured vocalist at his live concerts in Europe and a few shows in the U.S. She has also collaborated with UK’s jazz-funk band Shakatak’s bassist, George Anderson. She’s one of the featured vocalists in his album “Songs from tomorrow” released in 2021. She co-wrote and recorded the vocal tracks of the single “Let’s celebrate life”, released in 2020 and “Love makes you feel the pain” (2021).
