Madd3x formerly known as Madd Bruce is a HipHop artist hailing from East New York, Brooklyn. He grew up surrounded by the music scene. He has memories of seeing older guys from his neighborhood hanging out wearing big chains, having nice cars and eating good food. Those moments unknowingly pushed him towards the lifestyle he would want to be accustomed to living. He comes from a family of music, always knew from early on that he would be doing something in music. His passion was fueled by members of his family being apart of the famous Wu-Tang Clan. They traveled and ventured off to do amazing things. His father brought him to the recording studio a few times as a child. The early years of musical exposure developed into something Madd3x loved as he got older. Growing up in Brooklyn, he had to learn the streets and grow up fast. He saw his first shooting at 9 years-old walking one of his best friend’s home. It was hard to take in how ruthless the world was to children. Being introduced to different genres of music by his Father became Madd3x’s healthy outlet. His 4th grade teacher Mr. Bender was obsessed with Alicia keys album ‘The Diary Of Alicia Keys’. This is when he learned that music is powerful and can touch the hearts of anyone in this world. Leading into his teens, he started selling drugs to generate his own money so he could take some stress off of his parents. The years moving forward is where his music developed. “The heartache, the love, the fun and the pain.”
