CA!N represents the East Side of Chicago, but embodies hip-hop as a culture. Reinterpret & Repurpose everything. His story is truly as interesting as his narrative. He was best known for throwing parties as a strike against boredom and creating an outlet for his crew’s music. However, it is his upbringing that makes him special. The combination of growing up in public housing in the heart of gang culture, while being a decorated art student, and spearheading a full on artist & athlete collective, before the age of 18 makes for a colorful palette of unique sound and textured subject matter. Within that perspective CAIN took his talent and ambition, across the country curating major concerts and events. His love for music began as a teen and sparked variations of creativity from photography and fashion to being a trendsetter, and futurist. With his fluid and versatile style he's took the best from the best to create his masterpiece of rhyme...HIMSELF! CA!N has worked alongside some of hip-hop's most notable artist including Wu-Tang Clan, Wiz Khalifa, Lupe Fiasco, DJ Neil Armstrong, and Ron Carroll . CAIN has performed at a number of notable showcases and venues including CMJ Showcase (NYC), SXSW (Austin, TX), Water for Children Festival (SD, California) SoHo House (Chicago, IL) Youth Hip-Hop w/ Russell Simmons (Toledo, Ohio). Recently releasing his long awaited single "Life" Major media including RESPECT Mag , Thisis50, and more are shedding the spotlight on his emergence.
