The APE aka Tamir Muskat is the primal force behind the APE projects. Known as a founding member and drummer of the Balkan Beat Box and one of Israel's leading producers, Muskat's production credits also include Asaf Avidan last two albums Different Pulses and Gold Shadow, Gogol Bordello vs. Tamir Muskat, Firewater and many more. 
 The APE-tracks are the APE's new approach of collaborating with artists and friends. Songs are created spontaneously in the studio, with nothing prepared in advance, which reflects Muskat's unorthodox and unconventional style. 
 "Since singles are stand-alone, it gives us the freedom to go into uncharted territory", Muskat explains. "We want to surprise ourselves and the listener. That's the APE Sound".
