Natalja Sticco enchants audiences with her powerfully breathtaking voice, turning timeless songs and opera’s most beloved arias into an adventure that ignites the imagination. Praised for her displays of mastery in the finest European traditions of opera, Natalja instinctively and intelligently crafts each note with a soulful, contextual and culturally coherent style; culminating with what critics have lauded as a “brilliant full-voice performance throttling to beautiful heights with a full range of color.” The Latvian-born mezzo soprano launched her singing career in 2009 as a chorus member of the Latvian National Opera, eventually breaking-out as a soloist and concert performer in the United States in 2018. She has appeared in over 200 performances of thirty operas in six countries within Europe, the Middle East, and North America. During her seven season with The Latvian National Opera Natalja mastered her craft performing in major productions featuring Opera greats such as Tenor Jonas Kaufmann, Soprano Kristine Opolais and Mezzo-Soprano Elina Garanca. Her touring experience includes performances at Teatro Calderón, Vallladolid (Macbeth, 2010); National Opera and Ballet of Belarus, Minsk (Traviata, 2010); Rahvusooper Estonia (Eugene Onegin, M'dame Butterfly, 2011); Bolshoi Theatre (Eugene Onegin, Lucia di Lammermoor, 2013), Monte Carlo (Carmen, 2013), and the Royal Opera House Muscat (Der fliegende Holländer, 2013).
