Biography

Boxi Chen (陈泊汐), a musician, singer, and rapper, has made significant contributions to the music industry. He has performed as a guest for the New York tours of Digi Ghetto, Psy.P, Li Jialong, and ICE Yang Changqing. In 2023, he served as a judge for the Zhejiang Province competition of The Voice of China. He holds a Master's degree in Business Analytics from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Wake Forest University. He is a member of the Zhejiang Musicians Association and the Pop Music Association. Boxi Chen released his first original work, "Habit (demo)," on NetEase Cloud Music on November 24, 2018. The song was featured on the official recommendation list in January and received widespread attention. In April 2019, he signed with Tai Sheng Culture and has since continuously released works on multiple platforms. By April 2023, he had released 33 original songs, including a digital album titled "UNBOX." Some of his notable works include "1000 words," "what if I," "Purple Pain," "Chang'an Road is Far," "Seven Sweet Girls," and "Pinky Rain." His single "Lonely" garnered 102,000 plays within a week of its release and was featured on Jin Hua's "Han Shuo's Music Time." As an outstanding post-2000 musician, he has been interviewed and reported by 30 media outlets, including China Net, China Daily, Eastday, China.com, China News Daily, and Toutiao.
