Embrace the Crisis are a 4 piece electronic act hailing from Dublin, Ireland. Brothers, Gerry, Rob & Ray Philpott started the band as an instrumental act and later added vocalist, Mark Plunkett. Part of the growing and varied electronic scene in Ireland, they play a range of styles. Songs span synthpop, electro, electro blues, electro rock with the occasional meander into ambient electronica. The debut album 'Black Heart', released in November 2016, received critical acclaim from respected electronic web sites and blogs. Followed in early 2017, with the release of 2 instrumental albums, titled 'One' and 'Two' showcasing some of the early works of the band as requested by fans and DJ's. Soon after this followed a companion release to 'Black Heart' called 'Black Heart / altered' featuring remixes and alternative versions of all tracks from the original album. Remixes on this were done by the band themselves along with Irish producers, Terry Warren, Eugene Somers of (Tiny Magnetic Pets), Circuit3, Aidan Casserly, Eden, iEuropean and Le Cliche. Tha bands new Album, 'Heal' was released in April 2019. A taster of what was to come was given with the EP Release of 'Heal EP' in January and has been followed up with 3 more EP's showcasing tracks from the album, tracks from the recording sessions for the album and remixes from some amazing artists including Parralox, Nature of Wires, Circuit3, Terry Warren, Michal Bieniek (of Noise Gate Production), Eugene Somers and the band.
