Camille O'Sullivan is a singer/actress who enjoys a formidable international reputation. The award-winning singer - one of the original cast members of the Olivier Award-winning La Soiree- has stunned audiences around the world with her sell-out performances including Sydney Opera House, London’s Royal Festival Hall,The Roundhouse and a show-stealing appearance on Later with Jools Holland BBC. Recently she sold out her 10 night run at Sydney Festival where she won a prestigious Australian Helpmann Award. Chameleon-like on stage, as much storyteller as singer, each song is a different character to inhabit with its story to tell, Camille transforms each song into “an intense theatrical experience". Camille won a prestigious Herald Angel Award for her solo performance in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Rape of Lucrece for which she created the original music. At Wilderness Festival 2015 she performed Radiohead’s music with a forty-piece orchestra, and has also performed Brel’s music and recently David Lynch ‘In Dreams’ music at the Sydney Opera House. Camille has duetted with Tim Robbins, Todd Rundgren & Shane McGowan. Along with Paul Kelly, she created 'Ancient Rain' putting Irish poetry to music. She is currently rehearsing for Christmas Carol 2019 at The Gate and has a long list of acting credits. Camille sings Cave, a loveletter to the music of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds has toured Australia, New Zealand, Edinburgh and London and is now available as an album.
