~The soundtrack to your daydreams~ I make warm percussion-filled electronica to make the chaotic world stop and to help you float away. I learned to play drums as a teenager, but for a long time I believed I couldn't write music. After a few rejections from music colleges, I gave up trying to be a musician. Then my boyfriend bought me music production software as a surprise so I had to have a go at writing my own music. I loved the feeling of being able to conjure a whole song from nowhere, using my percussion skills in a new way. I've always been a daydreamer and it provided me with an escape I didn't realise I needed before. A producer showed me how to build a whole track and I was hooked. He helped me for free and told me to pay it forward later. Now I teach music production courses for women, non-binary & trans people via Saffron and run the Future Proof programme for Rhythm Section Intl. I want to empower other people to realise their creative potential. So I guess that's me paying it forward :) ‘A genuine star in the making’ - Electronic Sound magazine
