Stephan Tamba Bayoh who goes by the rap moniker Mr. Best is a Sierra Leonean producer & afro hip hop artist based in USA. He exploded on the scene with an era defining hit "Gee Den" in September 2016 and the subsequent remix which was an even bigger success featuring Drizilik, Menace Da General, TBJ, Shadow Boxxer and Prodigy Sim. Since then he has been consistent with his vivid descriptive style of rap and wordplay. Mr. Best's unique fusion of Hip Hop, Dancehall and Afrobeats has set him apart from others and made his sound quite one of a kind. In 2018 Mr. Best was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 2018 Sierra Leone Entertainment Awards held in Queens, NY which he won. He released a 15 song LP as his debut album in April of 2018. Mr. BEST’s thirst to live by his name has seen this young talent grow from strength to strength and acquire fans worldwide with sold out performances around the east coast US as well as some in California. In 2019 he released several singles with the controversial song ‘Salone Men Don’t Cheat’ and ‘You’ standing out as well as featured in several other projects. In 2020 Mr. BEST hit the ground running with two hot singles titled ‘Saucy’ and ‘Popo Ose’ alongside classic visuals to back the two singles. Mr. BEST has his eyes set on being one of the new decades defining sounds and he has been proving that by having some of; if not the highest streaming numbers from his home country Sierra Leone for two years in a row.
