Born and raised in Montreal, 25-year-old singer Dalas has been active in the music industry for 10 years now. The singer-songwriter-composer stands out through his unique creations and desire to present pop music in a new light. As a fan of horror movies, he subtly inserts sound effects inspired by the genre into some of his musical compositions. His passion for music first developed by interpreting covers from famous rappers. Then, after meeting young singer-songwriter Billy Williams, Dalas started truly focusing on music. At 15 years old, Dalas and Billy learned the basics of music creation, including songwriting, recording and sound mixing. In his partner’s basement sound studio, the artist created multiple original songs. With his songs, Dalas aims for bold impact. Inspired by artists such as Beyoncé, Pharrell, Justin Timberlake and Kanye West, he presents an alternative pop style. Dalas has produced for Leli Hernandez and Rio Santana from Miami called “Rica” with over 300k streams on Spotify. “I Pray to God”, “Fake Love” and “Devil Making My Decisions” for Stitches with combined views over 600k on Youtube, as well as doing commercial work for a company called Envato subcontracted by Silent Noise Productions, selling over 200 Instrumentals.
