Anthony Teasdale has been creating deep house, techno, 2-step garage, ambient and electro since 1993. Crafting a sound somewhere between Mr Fingers, Andy Weatherall and Aphex Twin, Tony has released records on labels like Soma, Opia, Sunday Best, Alola and Bugged Out! He’s also remixed the likes of Two Lone Swordsmen, and Wamdue Project for Strictly Rhythm. In 2022, he released ‘Decades Of Deep, his first vinyl EP in 18 years: a release which included a re-edit of his 1996 deep house classic, ‘Deep in NW5’. His most recent release, the ‘Tango De La Boca’ EP, was released on vinyl London’s Pamela Records in November 2023. It’s now available to stream for the first time. The lead track, ‘Tango De La Boca’ is an uplifting house tune with an unforgettable piano line and a groovy disco beat. Named after the barrio of La Boca in Buenos Aires, the tango feel is supplemented with layers of percussion, electric guitar stabs and moody strings. “I think this is the most uplifting record I’ve ever made,” says Anthony. “Hearing those piano lines come in on a club system is a massive buzz.” And with more tracks to discover on the EP, lovers of deep house, electro and disco are sure to feel the same way.
