They say there is no place like home, but how would you define "home"? As a teenager DubtownRob lived with his mother in the back of their vehicle and in homeless shelters most of his teenage years. Through the years of struggling financially with his mother he found an outlet and a way to express himself through music. His upcoming LP "Homecoming" recounts his days on the streets. He has shared the stage with many globally known artists such as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Snow Tha Product, Tech N9ne and Waka Flocka Flame. Adding to the list are T-Pain, Sage The Gemini and Iamsu!. To nurture his entrepreneur spirit he established his own clothing line Golden State Originals which has received promotion from artists such as Baby Bash, Mobb Deep, and Tha Dogg Pound. ROB is maintaining his focus, as he is currently on the “Homecoming” tour to promote his upcoming album. When ROB was asked what he attributes to his life’s ambitions, he replied, “No matter what we face, with perseverance, comes positivity.” And indeed, he reflects that very saying; hearing it through his hard hitting and real rhymes.
