Flint, Michigan native, professionally known as Selah Zeus, is a music producer with over 13 years of experience under his belt. He started experimenting with music as a youth with help from his first pieces of equipment: an early 90's computer mic, an old house speaker, and a stereo equalizer. - Drawing inspiration from the glum and glory of his hometown, he was able to cultivate a versatile production style that fluctuates between symphonic, Neo-Soul, classic Hip-Hop, Chill Hip-Hop, Drug Rap, and Rap. He was able to keep a broad perspective on music throughout the years due to the presence of his brothers and cousin who are musicians as well as the influences of producer Bernard Terry, Michael Jackson, JAY-Z, Dr. Dre, and composers Ludwig Goransson and Hans Zimmer. - In 2019, Selah had the opportunity to handle production on two breakout albums from Flint natives, including rap artist Mark Ant, Flint Town Story (10/24/19) and rap/alternative group 12 Dead Roses, Luv Support (6/12/19). Both albums were well-received on the local and independent scenes as Selah got a chance to create vivid moments on each track he produced. - One of his main goals is to provide extraordinary audio experiences that people will remember. In fact, he plans to enter the motion-picture and performing arts industries to push far beyond his capabilities, a noble trait that continues to stay with him overtime. Until then, Selah’s focus is on creating unforgettable moments through the power of music.
