Berlin-based Gloria de Oliveira's bewitching sound spectrum is enhanced by her densely atmospheric, self-directed music videos & visuals. Her much celebrated new record, “Oceans of Time”, a collaboration with long-time David Lynch -collaborator and sound designer Dean Hurley was recently released on Sacred Bones (NYC). In March ‘23, she was invited to SxSW and performed at the coveted Levitation showcase at Hotel Vegas, among other showcases. Other recent live highlights include her November ‘22 show at Synästhesie Festival in Berlin (headlined by Slowdive, Tricky, Tess Parks, and Sonic Boom, as well as her upcoming performances at Berlin's PopKultur, Sweden’s Way Out West, Amsterdam’s Paradiso and an extended tour through select European cities. The German-Brazilian multidisciplinary artist’s full length, self-produced debut “Fascination” was released via Reptile/Cargo Records on vinyl and CD in 2020, incl. remixes by Gudrun Gut, Fragrance, Box And The Twins and others. It was the follow-up to her 2019 EPs “La Rose de Fer” and “Lèvres de Sang” (named after the vampire film classics by Jean Rollin) - released on limited edition cassette tape through her own imprint La Double Vie and the cult cassette label Dispersion in 2019. In 2021, she composed the score to Peter Thiers’ play “Paradiesische Bauten”, which premiered at Hamburg's Thalia Theater, followed by the score of and performance at the Bora Aksu Autumn/Winter 22/23 Catwalk show at London Fashion Week.
