Striving to achieve his dreams, Jay is an aspiring music artist who has set his eyes on the ultimate goal: excellence. Born and bred in Bluff, Arkansas, Jay seeks to move out of his small hometown to somewhere where his talent is recognized and appreciated for what it is. His journey into the music industry began with his raging ardor for music and his need to share his energy. From a young age, he discovered the therapeutic abilities of music. He learnt to channel his negative emotions through beats, and to spread positive vibes through his lyrics. Especially not having a supportive family took a traumatic toll on his young mind, and that trauma too he overcame by venting through music the feelings he kept in his heart. Jay takes pride in being compared to notable artists such as Chris Brown. But, he believes that his voice and sound quality is entirely authentic and original, speaking of his individuality. As of yet, his latest release is the remix cover of Rihanna’s, ‘Yeah, I said It,’ which has been released on music platforms such as YouTube and SoundCloud. For now, he is learning more about the technicalities in the music engineering and production, writing lyrics and recording music to make his debut as a serious artist.
