Campfire Social are a constantly evolving 12 legged gang of friends that can mine the best bits of The Weakerthans, Los Campesinos!, Death Cab for Cutie or The Get Up Kids from song to song. Or all at once. Depending on their mood. Masters of the introspective, listen-to-while-looking-out-of-a-rain-streaked-train-window heartstring pulling anthem, their songs can flick a switch between 80s UK kitchen sink indie to 2000s Midwest Emo in a broken heartbeat. Having cut their teeth performing on a cruise ship sailing the Mediterranean Sea for Belle & Sebastian’s festival ‘The Boaty Weekender’ then hopping straight back on the bus to embark on their first German tour. Some exciting things were postponed due to Covid-19 including SXSW. Their debut album will be released in August this year.
