Award-winning producer, instrumentalist, and record label entrepreneur GaryOAKland is making waves in multiple facets of the music industry. Combining jazzy arrangements with modern production, he creates familiar but ever-intriguing grooves begging to be played on repeat. First a jazz pianist, Gary recorded his first studio album in 2013 and developed a love of both the performance and production sides of the industry. He continued to record and perform with a rotating cast of musicians spanning from straight-ahead jazz to funk to indie rock, keeping a focused eye on the production booth. In 2017 he began producing as a solo artist, releasing full length albums Paint by Numbers in 2019 and GaryOAKland II in 2020, along with number of singles and EPs. In 2020 Gary founded Sunset Drip Records, releasing tracks in collaboration with Lee Brave, WhitMo, Mark Anthony and many others. Kickstarted by a few breakout tracks, the record label continues to grow and actively promote music in the Bay Area.
