Reigning from MidTown Los Angeles, Mr. Sag N My Jeans aka Rahten launched his career with the Los Angeles based group HoodCats, later to be heard on the international release from Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill, on the compilation titled Meeting of the Minds with a song titled The Good, Bad & Ugly (feat. The Hoodcats). Soon after, he continued to produce, write, and record with his group A.P.L.S. alongside LuxuryBoy/Havin Thangs, a lyricist from the Crenshaw district. He later was recruited to Nuai-Misol Tribe out of East Los Angeles/ Boyle Heights, a crew whom he has been affiliated with throughout the years of his career. His presence is heard on the release Nuai - Detention & Recess. Soon after, he began focusing on his solo career and was influenced to establish his solo persona of Mr. Sag N M Jeans. His lyrical sound is associated with surviving ghetto living, hustling, partying, smacking you in the face reality, and some make you think concepts. Oh! His catchy phrases and signature soundbite "Blunted!" allows Mr. Sag N My Jeans to stand out in this era of hip hop.
