Brad Smith is one of the pioneers of Electronic Dance Music in Florida starting in the early 90’s. Brad is a renowned for his mixing skills, flawlessly smooth transitions and, impeccable track selection. He started his career in the underground Acid House and Happy Hardcore scene at WBUL in Tampa with his first gig at a Rave in 1992. Since then, he has played across the globe especially across the Southeast United States. Brad has released more than 400 tracks and remixes under 14 different aliases including Mr. Smith, Sleven, Praying Mantis and AZARUZ on 36 different labels. Brad has reached the Beatport Top 100 in Progressive House, Electro House, House, DnB, Dubstep, Breakbeat, Glitch Hop and Psy-Trance. Brad has remixed such notables as Capital Cities, Interglaxtix, pop sensation Right Said Fred, Starkillers and Salme Dahlstrom (which can be heard in Suave TV commercials). In addition, Brad has had his own tracks featured in TV shows such as “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and MTV’s “Catfish”. Brad owns and runs the underground label, Crescent Records; established in 1996.
