Nothin Serious is the solo project of Benjamin Jones Ben Jones is a 21 year old indie rock singer/songwriter from Bluffton, South Carolina currently based in Nashville, Tennessee. He began learning to play the guitar just before entering the 6th grade, and picked up an interest in songwriting a few years later. Ben writes songs that capture mental pictures of the people, events, and experiences that have shaped his life and character during his late teens and early twenties. His specific yet relatable lyrics are paired with an upbeat, guitar-driven, pop rock sound inspired by acts like Third Eye Blind, Modern Baseball, Inhaler, and Weezer. Apart from his solo songwriting, Ben has written with and played bass in local bands College Laundry and Lambeaux.
