"Influx is a cacophony of hellish harmonics and outcry’s stemming of emotional tribulations. Influx’s work is probably the most encapsulated in hopelessness, sorrow and the feeling of regret beyond most other producers in the field of Minatory and experimental Lo-fi noise. By the number of tracks out on his discography (likely within the triple digit range), it’s made apparent that he pours his soul into sound and then some. Influx is harsh, mind-flaying and filled to the brim with serrated disintegrative sound design. Everything surrounding those vorpal storms are distancing from reality, especially when listening in a dark place or isolated just by yourself. It’s honestly good study music particularly with his more ambient or instrumental pieces. I used to not have an appreciation for this artist until I really got further into the amount of albums he’s put out. It’s rather impressive seeing how he’s improved and adapted different styles in recent years, opting for a more tearout-ish dynamic in later EPs and singles. Hard earned respect and definitely under appreciated by most in my opinion.
