Exile Di Brave, born Clayton Johnson, is a Reggae, Dancehall and World Music artist, hailing from the sunshine city of Portmore, Jamaica. Raised on a hearty concoction of the musical beats of the 1980s, Exile was ultimately usurped by the sweet melodies of Jamaican Roots Reggae and the political messages it tells. Exile Di Brave has captivated audiences by Deploying social commentary in his lyrics, Exile Di Brave is best known for tunes like ‘Voice of the Young’, ‘If This Is Love’ and his hit single, ‘Hungry’. He has dropped three studio albums: The Calling (2013), The Journey Begins (2015) and To The Foundation (2016). Exile frequently puts out EPs, such as 2017s Exile Di Brave Meets Black Star.Exile is also one of the founders of Vinyl Thursdays, a weekly event which promotes live, and strictly Vinyl music in Kingston, Jamaica. Exile Di Brave continues to evolve his artistic talent in documentaries and short films, such as “Rock Dem” (2016), which he presents on national and international film and music festivals. Since 2017 Exile Di Brave has expanded his music company EDB Entertainment from Jamaica to Germany. Today, music production services are available in both countries catering to the needs of music personal on a transnational basis.
