Through her innovative songwriting, fiery delivery, and rhythmic instrumentation, Journee gives you an open-minded perspective on heartbreak and vulnerability all while fusing modern R&B with remnants of 90s and early 00s melodics. Growing up in the Bay Area, Journee began writing and recording music when she was 11 years old. Inspired by the likes of Destiny's Child, Aaliyah, Mary J. Blige, and Janet Jackson, Journee has been able to create a versatile sound that she describes as New Age, Nostalgic R&B. Journee released her debut EP "It's Not You, It's Me" in 2020 which featured one of her biggest records "This and That". She has continued to carve her way through the R&B lane by her clever wordplay with tracks such as "Don't Call My Phone" and "Play U Instead".
