BFB (Blaq falcon bird) rather known in the music world is actually Jeremy Matewere. The Malawian native, multitalented music artist is a songwriter, vocalist, rapper, and producer based in SA.His passion for music took off in the year 2006. Before he took up Music, BFB was fond of writing and drawing until he was introduced to hip-hop music which inspired him to be the artist we know today. Advocating emotions, love, encouragement, and day to day life stories through music BFB considers himself as a poet with ‘poetic deliverance’ in his vocals and production as he experiments with different genres to create a signature sound relevant to his surroundings. That is why his lyrics & Production evolves from time to time to suit the current environment while accommodating his style in terms of production and as an artist. As a producer BFB has managed to win two awards under his name (Nyasa music awards best producer 2017 & UMP awards Best Producer 2017). In his artistry career, he has managed to make big songs which have impacted the music scene in a positive manner in Malawi i.e Local ili swaggi, WhatsApp & Judas just to mention a few, BFB has also managed to collaborate with other international artists on various projects i.e “Pasopa” Featuring South Africa’s Legend HHP (Hip-hop Pantsula), Zambia’s Cleo Ice queen on DJ Cool’s “Not good for you” & again with HHP on his 2017 first single titled Kea Jelwa.
