My name's Jay Peace ✌️ I stand for the pillars of Passion, Power and Peace, centered on the Self. I've been making music for almost two decades since I was 16 with my high-school band The Moxie, playing at parties. Since then, I've joined up with a few bands chasing my destiny; Mire and Keychain among them. I always had an affinity for the eclectic through my Dad's taste in music. Everything from Led Zeppelin, Björk, Digital Underground, Portishead, Barenaked Ladies, Beck, The Cranberries, The Orb and the Beastie Boys, to my own discoveries-turned-influences in Hip-Hop and Rock; Wu-Tang Clan, Nine Inch Nails, Matthew Good, Radiohead, Alanis Morissette, Linkin Park, Outkast, Limp Bizkit and TOOL (to name a few). My promise to myself has brought me here, as a solo artist making the music I love with the people I respect the most. Through avid networking and creative initiative, I've come under mentorship from Big "Unlimited" Lou, through whom I've been graced with the opportunity to work alongside some of the greatest talents in the game from Hip-Hop, Country, Pop to Rock and Metal. Music must be legendary and made to last; different becomes favorite. I live for the rush of inspiration, strive for the pride of the craft and bleed for the awe of the crowd.
