in 2009, thrillpvck thari's parents told him, "you can do anything you want. don't bother being a doctor, engineer or whatever to please us. do what you love but give it 110%". excited with the forward-thinking mindset of his immigrant parents, he replied, " sweet as! i'm gonna be a rapper!", to which they said something along the lines of "...anything but that". 
 fast forward to 2011, dropping out of wellington's architecture school and moving back to auckland, thari and his best mate, bronz, linked up on one sunny june day. he told him what happened and how he dropped out to work on music. "bro... i dropped out too!", said bronz. 
 that day they cleaned out bronz’s parents' garage and set up a home base for what was soon to formulate; for the thrill music group. they couldn't wait to work on music together and cleaned all day 'till night. both would spend days and nights making beats on garageband and fl studios, writing lyrics and recording. 
 thari and bronz did it all for the thrill of it and enjoyed seeking new ways to fuse different genres of music together. this was the year that bronz formulated his own unique sound, known as “trop”. 
 later on in the year, yoda.c, ultra chronic monstah, and DJ jiggaboo joined the crew (thrillpvck) and for the thrill music group (FTTMG) came to fruition... and the rest was history ~
