Biography

DJ Chemics embarked on his musical journey during his formative years, captivated by the vibrant Dancehall/Reggae/Hip-Hop culture. It all began when he seized the opportunity to DJ his first paid gig at his grade school, sparking a fiery passion within him. Eager to refine his skills, he wasted no time in acquiring his very own sound system. From lively backyard parties to unforgettable sweet sixteens, he honed his craft, specializing in Top 40, Pop, and Hip-Hop/Rap. He found himself headlining at the hottest bars and clubs in Kingston, including Quad Night Club, Ribbiz Ultra Lounge, and Club Noir (Moon Place Jamaica). Eventually, he embarked on a new chapter, leaving his mark on the vibrant nightlife scenes of New York and Florida. In no time, he garnered significant influence in the area, leading him to relaunch his Mobile DJ Company and leave an indelible impact on the local music scene. Sharing stages with esteemed artists such as Sean Paul, RDX, Major Lazer, DJ Snake, Machel Mantano, Shaggy, and Brick & Lace, he solidified his status as a true musical powerhouse. The icing on the cake arrived when Atlantic Records awarded DJ Chemics a Golden Plaque for his work on Burna Boy's hit single "YE." This well-deserved accolade opened doors for him to showcase his skills in Florida and New York, allowing him to expand his horizons even further. Eager to elevate his career to new heights, Chemics immersed himself in music production.
