German born Volker Albert Barber, now mainly living in L.A. started playing piano at early age with lessons at Peter Cornelius Conservatory Mainz, and later on Berklee correspondence course and extensions at UCLA. He also studied Germanistics, Anglistics and Linguistics at Johannes Gutenberg University/Mainz Germany. IN THE STUDIO As synthesizer/sampling specialist for PPG, -a then leading marketbrand-, he traveled Europe and the US, including numerous Namm Shows / Frankfurt Musik Messe fairs. He concepted, organized, performed international workshop tours and clinics for PPG, AKAI, DYNACORD, and did sound design and presentations also for the WALDORF synths. As a recording artist he can be heard on hundreds of studio sessions worldwide, catering for arrangements, playing & programming for artists such as Terrence Trent D´Arby, Milli Vanilli, Rob & Fab, Boney M, Meatloaf, Debbie Bonham and many others. Quite a few albums both project and concept are to be heard on the internet (spotify etc.) with well over 1500 music tracks written, performed and produced by him in his fast-forward-music studio. In the past years he has been actually writing music score/underscore music and trailers for Film & TV Series worldwide.
