Mic Mountain is an Afro-Latino emcee and producer of Native American descent from the Washington D.C. area. He began rapping in his early teenage years, writing lyrics and recording in local 8-track studios. Influenced by hip-hop icons like Run DMC and A Tribe Called Quest, particularly Phife Dawg, his style evolved further in high school with the emergence of Redman, who brought a new perspective to his craft. Mic Mountain has collaborated with several veteran artists, including Mellow Man Ace, Psycho Les of The Beatnuts, Thirstin Howl the 3rd, Prince Po of Organized Konfusion, Pace Won of the Outsidaz, Tame One of The Artifacts, Hakim Green of Channel Live, Shabaam Sahdeeq, and Supreme the Eloheem of the Boot Camp Clik. His rap style reflects his multicultural heritage, infusing vibrant energy into his dynamic flow and lyrics. Known for his clever wordplay and use of metaphors, Mic Mountain captivates listeners with his unique sound. With three mixtapes and seven solo albums to his name, his latest project, "Triple Piragua," pays homage to his Puerto Rican roots and will be available online in Summer 2024.
