Kilo, who sings in both English and Spanish, is an Ecuadorian-American singer, songwriter, and entertainer. Born in Los Angeles, Kilo was raised partly in Guayaquil, Ecuador. A natural-born talent, at 8 years old Kilo would begin singing latin romantic ballads in restaurants and cantinas; where he developed his impassioned tone and gentle tenor. He immersed himself in his parents’ vast music collection, which comprised of Julio Jaramillo, Daniel Santos, Leo Dan, Jose Jose, and more. Kilo fell in love with a broad spectrum of Latin music before discovering American hip-hop and R&B in his early teens.
