Pioneering nu-disco, Laurent Ash aka Lifelike, caught the attention of DJ Falcon and Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter with his "Black Chess" single during their Together 2002 tour. This catapulted him into the elite "French Touch" family, alongside Daft Punk, Justice, Alan Braxe & Fred Falke, Air, Cassius, etc. Almost every release since then has been championed by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong & Annie Mac, DJ Mag, MixMag, and Future Music Magazine, hailing his work as “sure-fire hits on dance floors”, “walking that smooth and sexy line between nu-disco, new wave and funk” and "a master of crafting credible dance floor beast". His notable tracks include the massive international club hit "Discopolis" (Vulture), "So Electric" (Wall Of Sound), "Sequencer" (Vulture), "Don't Stop" feat. A-Trak (Kitsuné), and recent hits "Sexodrome" and "NightWalk" on Anjunadeep. As a remixer, Lifelike has transformed tracks into dancefloor hits for Daft Punk, Giorgio Moroder, The Chainsmokers, Amtrac, Chromeo, Front 242, Sia, Empire Of The Sun, Moby, The Presets, etc., boasting over 40 remixes in total.
