A DJ, producer, radio host, innovator, and founder of Dynamite Disco Club, Stalvart John has led the modern-day house and disco revolution within the country by balancing being an entertainer, an experimentalist, and a purveyor of fresher sounds from behind the desk and in the studio alike. Stalvart John finds his early roots as a trailblazer in Kerala, where he helped carve the early inklings of a music scene by taking various residencies, frequently spinning trance and melodic electronica across the region’s nightlife, and presenting his podcast ‘Trancemitor’ followed by the radio show ‘In A Mind Space’. He shifted his base to Bangalore following the prohibition in Kerala in 2014 and soon built his identity off the back of his passion for his craft and bringing his stylistically-rich experience to inform an unwavering vision centred around the feel-good quality of house, disco and adjacent genres.
