Biography

Donovan Hines (aka) Young Donny was born April 24, 1990 in Detroit, Michigan. His influences are Tupac, Biggie, Jay-z,Cassidy, and Jadakiss. Through most of his young life, rapping was the last thing on his mind. He was a great basketball and baseball player in his younger days. He began rapping at the age of 14 when he was in the 8th grade, but back then he just played around with friends, freestyling all day every day. He also can sing a little bit too; he just doesn't like singing as much as he likes rapping. All his friends used to tell him that he should try taking rap to the next level, but he never listened to them until the 11th grade when he met a friend that was a producer. So like in a week or two later, he wrote and recorded his first song "Feeling like a star", and once he brought it back to school and played the song for all of his friends, they thought that he should get signed really soon, so from that day on, he felt like he was good enough to get signed. He recorded a track with 2 of his close friends Young fresh and Bills from Richboy Records called "Stick it out". The song started getting around the neighborhood, and it also got played in 3 different strip clubs in Detroit, it was a smash hit. A couple weeks after they recorded the song, they started performing it at a couple of local spots around the city. Now days, he's still in the studio 24/7 knocking out tracks with his producer "Quicktunes". He is currently signed to New Age Music Group.
