From aggressive rap, story telling, sad lyrical songs, to melodic and screamo; the Lafayette, Indiana born artist PHYOROM has been consistent with his heavy trap and grime influenced sound. The high and raw energy artist has made it his goal to show his talents with each song he releases. PHYOROM began his musical journey at the age of 8. Music was a scapegoat for the young artist, a way to get away from what was happening around him. Through every struggle he experienced PHYOROM, also known as PHY and ROM, learned a lesson. Regardless of what peers think or say, nothing can stop the dedication you have towards your craft. Once ROM puts his mind to something, he will not stop working towards it until he has the dream within his grasp. When asked what is his main purpose for making music, PHYOROM answered, “I’m here to create a sound with high energy, while bouncing around from different genres and sounds to show my versatility, and leave a piece of myself in each song.” The 20 year old artist is here to prove a point, sit back and watch the growth.
