Prince K. Appiah is an up and coming Ghanaian music artist and actor currently based in Antwerp, Belgium. He started releasing music in 2015 primarily doing remixes and freestyles, he gained some traction with his 2015 underground mixtape 'U.N.K.U.U.T' (U Never Know Unless U Try) spearheaded by the local banger 'Grindin'. After a couple remixes and singles he came back in 2018 with another mixtape 'A.R.T' (A Right To) which was very well received by his peers gaining some more local recognition. 2019 marks the year of his first official project release 'UPX' (Unknown Project X) preceded by singles such as 'THING' and 'ENERGY' and succeeded by the hit song 'OHEMA'. His music is often described by himself as a blend of ‘African Music’ stating that he doesn’t have a genre but uses different elements from genres created by Africans all over the world. In 2021 he released his first official Album titled "Shrine Of Truth" preceded by singles like "C'est Ma Vie" & "Late Night Thoughts" this album was received greatly and has been heralded by his fans and pears as his best music project to date. It instantly became his most streamed project. In January 2021 he starred in the lead role of the television series "De Shaq" which appeared on één on Belgium television. He made history with this role for being the first man of African descent to play a lead role on Belgium television ever.
