Born Johnson Motau in 2005, $wan fell in the Towns View based Franchise Youngin in his early teens- a collective that, speaks a lot on homophobia, violence & misogyny. But they also a crew full of self sufficiency and independence in the underground rap. By the time he dropped his first MIXTAPE called $OME HI$TORY which got a lot of ears listening. Because of it’s weird sound… that invites you to $wan’s elaborate world.
