Originating from Glasgow, Scotland Hamid (aka Khromi) began his music endeavour playing in Progressive Rock and Blues bands before making the transition to the underground electronic scene. Having a deep desire to expand and experiment with new ideas, he decided to leave the bands and venture into something different. It was during this period from 2010 to 2012 that Khromi found his passion for electronic music. It was a direct result of the new emergence of dubstep that Khromi was formed. Khromi fuses the knowledge of Jazz and Blues from his past with an array of electronic music. Setting out with the hope and ambition to release his music on the record label 'Deep Heads' is what paved the way for Khromi's first ever signed release. Khromi has had a number of releases on various record labels including: Cut Records, After Dark Music, SmallPrint Recordings, Deep Heads, Off-Switch Audio and several others.
