Jayla Smalls, better known as IndigoYaj, is no stranger to music. This 20 year old young lady is a native of Detroit, MI. She has been singing since the age of 4 and working on her lyrical craft since the age of 10. A graduating member of her church choirs and school choirs allowed her to experience various genres of music. She’s also a former member of the Detroit Youth Choir. Even after graduating she later helped to solidify the choir’s mark on the nation with her ability to create rap lyrics on Season 14 of America’s Got Talent where the choir took second place to the gifted Kodi Lee. She released her first solo project, Indi, on her birthday in 2019. Her lyrical content and word wizardry keeps you captivated with each beat that drops. Her skill in taking a concept and making it come alive is displayed not only through her music but also electronically through vlog intros, videos, and flyers.
