Biography on Pamputtae Eveana Henry, (born June 19, 1985 in Kingston, Jamaica). Fletchers land, home to her, where she was popularly known as buju but soon become “Pamputtae,” Eveana in her early years attended the Calabar All Age School and realized that she wanted to become a Dancehall artist while in School. Pamputtae was discovered in her community by her numerous slangs and her dance moves at a Street Dance vastly known as “Dutty Fridaze”. Being signed to the Good Yute Productions Label in 2006 she had her first hit Single “It Good” on the Trash Out Riddim which was popular in the dancehall and on many radio stations in Jamaica and all around the world and gave a meaning to her name “Pamputtae”. Throughout her career she has performed both locally and overseas on stage shows and the first of which was Fully Loaded 2008 which gave her a full blown experience of how much fans she had and how drawn they were to her music. She performed at Sting that same year and had the same experience. A tour in Trinidad gave her some exposure as to how much she is recognized in the Caribbean. Since 2008 Pamputtae has been spreading her music in Third World Countries, such as England, Canada and the USA and have gotten great feedback from her international fans. She have released several singles such as “Ride It” on the Wibble Wabble Riddim under Mr. G’s Production Label in 08, another single such as “Stress Free” on the Badass Riddim under Birch Productions Label in 08.
