DUMBO TRACKS is the project of Cologne-based producer Jan Philipp Janzen. Philipp is a member of Von Spar, Urlaub in Polen, Die Sterne and Cologne Tape. He has played drums with The Field, Owen Pallett, Scout Niblett, Honig as well as Stephen Malkmus & Friends play Can's Ege Bamyasi and worked in Von Spar's own Dumbo Studios as a producer and engineer alongside his own projects with artists such as R. Stevie Moore, The Field, Xul Zola, Luis Ake, Albrecht Schrader and Stephen Malkmus. On 28 October 2022, he will release his debut album on ITALIC recordings. With contributions by Markus Acher (The Notwist), Portable, Roosevelt, Julian Knoth (Die Nerven), Indra Dunis (Peaking Lights), Eiko Ishibashi, Julene and DJ Koze.
