From Texas as a new born baby straight to Georgia shortly after birth TrueJ was born to make music to reach out to people by telling his story in ways people can relate to themselves. Each song he makes is fill with life lessons he learned himself involving life situations and including relationships. TrueJ’s goal is to reach out to troubled people and anyone who has been in his shoes to let them know that even when life gets hard you keep pushing forward. TrueJ never grew up on rap music as a child he listened to classic rock and country music. He’s a big fan of Led Zeppelin Guns N' Roses Aerosmith Journey Mötley Crüe AC/DC and many many more rock bands. He’s also a huge fan of Garth Brooks Alan Jackson Brooks & Dunn and many more classic country artists. TrueJ first heard rap at the age of 13 listening to Eminem, whose song Not Afraid inspired him to start writing. He then started to get into classic rap music including N.W.A., 2Pac, Big Daddy Kane and The Notorious B.I.G. . He started gaining interest of wanting to do rap at the age of 16 due to his love for poetry and eventually fell in love with the genre at the age of 18 after he graduated from high school The future for TrueJ is looking bright as he continues to make music to bring in fans from all around the entire world as he attempts to get notice. He has now met with many underground artists like himself around the world and has enjoyed working on music with them all!!!
