Chester-born and Manchester-based producer Inness Hallam began making music at the age of 16, however, his musical career started long before this as a multi-instrumentalist in various ensembles. His sound is a compliment to the wide range of genres which influence his production, from the likes of jazz, electronic music, hip-hop, soul, funk, and many more. With his proficiency in music knowledge and instrumentality, Inness is able to create unique rhythms and interesting melodies to supplement them. Since his first public release, The Loom, in 2020, Inness has started his own record label, Gentle Giant Records, with a goal of providing more weird and wonderful sounds to the evolving UK Jazz and Electronic scene.
