Biography

Spazzo - Born LeJearl Gillespie, Spazzo is a 29-year-old hip-hop artist from Cleveland, Ohio. He first gained attention in 2017 by auditioning for the Amateur Night at The Apollo, making an impact as the only rapper to perform outside the iconic theater. This exposure led to features on platforms like ThisIs50.com, VintageMag, Hihopsince1987, and 24/7 Hip-Hop. In 2018, he auditioned for America’s Got Talent, earning new fans despite not advancing. He released the single "Speedo" that same year, accompanied by a popular AMV that garnered 250,000 views on Instagram. On his birthday in 2019, he released "Kingdom Hearts" and publicly revealed his sexuality, making headlines on GrooveMag.co.uk and Trueskool.com. After releasing “The Demo Tape,” Spazzo took a two-year hiatus to focus on personal growth. Now back in 2024, he’s ready to make waves with his self-established label “Power Cord,” showcasing a new collection of music. Spazzo is poised to redefine his sound and elevate his career.
