Overthinking is the musical identity of a Brazil-based Psychology student inspired by all that is bassy and eerie on the underground house music scene. His productions are mainly influenced by a handful of dance music styles, ranging from Jackin House and UK House to Jersey Club and Breakbeat, always aiming to find a sweet spot between catchy grooves and dark atmospheres - the singular combination that lies at the core of his signature style. Having released on labels such as Insomniac’s Houseline, Medium Rare Recs, Perfect Driver, Box of Cats and others, his productions have already been played at world renowned radio stations, podcasts and events around the world, including Apple’s Beats 1, Diplo’s Revolution on Sirius XM, Rinse FM and more, having also played on the MixMag Brazil’s event “HiFx”. Both his past and most recent work have hailed support from some of the biggest names on the scene, such as Friend Within, AC Slater, Kyle Watson, Born Dirty, Craig Williams, Sinden, Marc Spence, Dombresky, Bart B More and more. Since he began producing his own tracks in 2014, Overthinking has teamed up with Brazilian producers who share the same passion for dance music, such as MKJAY, Sterium, Mochakk and Confesser, who together have recently founded Sweets & Treats, an independent record label dedicated to showcase upcoming talented and like-minded producers, a project which highly reflects one more significant step towards Overthinking’s solid growth on the music industry.
