"Gravesend rapper Bando Black started making music back in 2015 appearing on verses for upcoming local and African artists, the latter of which helped him to develop his sound from freestyle rap by introducing a harmonic UK afro-soul twist. His music diversity prompts different moods and emotions to his listeners and the unique level of extreme energy in his performances has made him one to watch out for in the UK scene. His initial solo work was in January 2019, where he released his first single ‘Bill$’ featuring David GotSound and since then has released several more singles alongside his debut mixtape Practice, Vol. 1 and Wavey Flames Inna Bando, the Joint EP with Wavey J and Jxhnny Flames . Since then the mixtape has attracted various other opportunities and opened doors such as radio show appearances, more collaborations with up and coming artists, resulting in an increase in performances. In 2020 he appeared on BBC News and released his 2nd mixtape Practice, Vol. 2 following up to his debut sold out headline show at the O2 Academy Islington. Since the pandemic he released 2 further mixtapes Practice, Vol. 3 & Grand Line, the latter including the 2021 summer hit Running featuring Shojon. His consistency, high energy and drive to put Kent on the map prompts him as one to look out for in the near future."
