Best known as the frontman for the Swedish alternative folk outfit Holmes, Kristoffer Bolander is also an accomplished solo artist with an angelic, Neil Young-esque tenor and a keen ear for wistful melodies. Offering up a heady blend of muscular dream rock and melancholic folk-pop in the vein of artists like Coldplay, Jónsi, and José González, Bolander issued his debut solo album, I Forgive Nothing, in 2015. The 12-track LP drew inspiration from the work of modernist polymath Samuel Beckett. It was recorded and tracked mostly live in just six days at Nacksving Studios in Gothenburg with the help of Holmes' lap steel guitarist Johan Björklund and his brother, drummer Mikael Björklund.
